Maharashtra Minister Asks Centre To Reduce 'Gap' Between Two Vaccine Doses

Maharashtra State health minister Rajesh Tope, on November 12, Urged the Central Government to reduce the gap between two vaccine doses. According to reports, a meeting was held virtually with the Union Ministry of health, where Tope said that the state government is working to administer at least one dose to all of its citizens by November 30. "The state has initiated several programs to increase vaccination drive", Tope added.

Two People Die After Receiving Moderna Vaccine In Japan

Two people die after getting vaccinated by the Moderna vaccine of coronavirus due to contaminants in vaccine vials in Japan. The use of at least 1.63 million Moderna vaccines that were shipped to 863 vaccination centers throughout Japan has been stopped. However, Moderna and Takeda said in a statement that, “At this time, we do not have any evidence that these deaths are caused by the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine".

As per reports, Uttar Pradesh has received the highest number of vaccine shots (21,291) after the launch of nationwide COVID-19 vaccination drive.
