UK Becomes First Country To Approve COVID-19 Vaccine

Giving a green signal to the Pfizer vaccine on December 2, the UK has become the first country to approve a COVID-19 vaccine. The vaccine, which has been developed jointly by Germany based BioNTech SE and Pfizer Inc. will be available in the UK from the next week. The UK government stated that the vaccine has fulfilled Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency's strict standards of safety, quality, and effectiveness.
