Covid Workers

The 'PM Garib Kalyan Package Insurance Scheme' that covers health workers, who are fighting coronavirus, has been extended for 180 days. The Health Ministry made the announcement on September 15. The insurance is applicable to private hospital staff, community health workers and many others alike without any age restrictions. Earlier, the initiative, launched on March 30 for a 90-day period, was extended till September 25.
