1,000 Covishield Doses Found Frozen At Assam's Medical College
Assam's Silchar Medical College and Hospital witnessed a total of 1,000 doses of spoiled 'Covishield' vaccines due to extreme cold storage temperatures. 4 More Vaccines Under Development, Says SII Executive Director
Executive Director of Serum Institute of India (SII), Suresh Jadhav, has informed that the company is currently working on four more covid-19 vaccines apart from Covishield. Suresh said, "Three others are in different stages of clinical studies while one is in the pre-clinical stage of the trial". Reportedly, SII has collaborated with US firms like Codagenix and Novavax inc aiming to produce 200 crore doses of vaccine.

Pune Court Issues Notice To SII Against Using 'Covishield' Trademark
Serum Institute of India was issued notice by a Pune Civil Court in for using the 'Covishield' trademark. Reportedly, a pharma company Cutis-Biotech had filed a suit stating the usage of 'Covishield' trademark on its products since May 2020. Besides, the suit stated the Cutis-Biotech had applied for the trademark registration, which remains pending. However, the company has no objection to the release of the vaccine after a name change.

Telangana Government Plans To Vaccinate 3 Crore People In One Month
