Archaeologists Discover Mummified Sheep From Ancient Temple

In bizarre findings, the archaeologists said that more than two thousand sheep heads turned into mummies centuries and centuries ago. Getting into details, the findings also suggested that mummified ram (sheep) heads dating from the Ptolemaic period and a palatial Old Kingdom structure have been uncovered in Ramses II  Not just rams, mummified ewes, dogs, wild goats, cows, gazelles, and mongooses were also found.

Gujarat CM Rupani Weighed Against Silver, Donates To Cow Shelters

In a 'Rajat Tula' event organised by Samast Mahajan Trust on March 29, Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani was weighed against 85 kilograms of silver. After the event, the CM donated the silver to cow shelters in the state for the welfare of livestock. Mentioning Karuna Abhiyan that aims at treating birds injured by the kite strings, CM Rupani said his government has also inducted 350 veterinary vans into the service.

Prayagraj Officials Plans To Cover Cows With Jute Coat To Protect From Cold

Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj district plans to cover the state-run cow shelters with polythene sheets and provide cows with jute-bag jackets during winters. While the district supply department will provide jute bags from ration shops, the coat and other arrangements will be made by gram panchayats. 78 Cows Die In 24 Hours At Rajasthan's Shelter; Officials Suspect Food Poisoning

Just a day before cow-dedicated festival Gopasthami, at least 78 cows have died in past 24 hours of November 20 at a government-aided cattle shelter in Rajasthan's Churu district. Besides, many others fell ill. The officials have suspected food poisoning as the reason behind the deaths. They added that the fodder consumed by the cows has been collected and the samples were being researched.
