IPL 2021: West Indies Cricket Reschedules CPL To Avoid IPL Clash
After the BCCI’s request, Cricket West Indies have rescheduled the 'Caribbean Premier League' from Aug 28 to Aug 26, till Sept 15 to avoid clash with IPL. However, the change in schedule will provide an opportunity to Indian Players who were also a part of the CPI. Besides, it's a success for BCCI as several Caribbean players were an integral part of IPL franchises and provide X-factor to the tournament.

BCCI Requests West Indies To Prepone Caribbean Premier League
The BCCI is in talks with Cricket West Indies to prepone the Caribbean Premier League by a week or 10 days to avoid the clash with the second phase of the IPL. The board cited a seamless bubble-to-bubble transfer of players as the reason. Scheduled to commence from August 28, the CPL final will be played on September 19. Whereas, IPL is likely to start from September 18 in UAE.

Pravin Tambe Proves Age is 'Just a Number', Takes Maiden Wicket at Age 48
Pravin Tambe, 48, made his historical debut in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) by taking a maiden wicket for Kieron Pollard's Trinbago Knight Riders, playing against Darren Sammy's St Lucia Zouks. Tambe bowled Afghanistan batsman Najibullah Zadran and celebrated the wicket with his signature celebration gesture. Tambe is the first Indian to play a match in CPL. Tambe also has 33 IPL matches under his resume.
