A Syrian military helicopter crashed during a training mission in Hama city, confirmed local media on September 4.  The crash occurred due to a technical snag in the helicopter, resulting in the death of all the crew members onboard. "A military helicopter crashed on Sunday morning, northeast of Hama, during a training mission which led to the martyrdom of the helicopter crew," said Syrian Defence department.

In Pune's Indapur taluka, a trainee aircraft crashed in a farm, confirmed concerned officials. The crash happened around 11.30 am, when Bhavika Rathod (22) a trainee pilot was flying an aircraft and lost control, leading to the crash. Furthermore, the officials confirmed no serious injuries to the pilot or the people in the area. Meanwhile, Bhavika was also shifted to Navjeevan Hospital for minor injuries.

In a tragic incident, a military helicopter crashed between Coimbatore and Sulur in Tamil Nadu on December 8. Reportedly, Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat, his staff, and some family members were on board. Search and rescue operations have been launched from nearby bases. The chopper is said to be of Mi-series. However, any official confirmation regarding causalities is yet to come.
