IPL 2023 Returns, Grand Ceremony On March 31
The awaited 16th season of the IPL is set to kickstart in a grand opening ceremony. On March 24, the BCCI announced about the inside information about the spectacular event, scheduled to be held on March 31, at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. This year it will be home-and-away’ format after the pandemic this year with the 10 teams divided into two groups for the 70 league fixtures.

Ashneer Grover Tweets His New Cricket App
Ashneer Grover's new venture Third Unicorn has launched a fantasy sports app called CrickPe, ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 that begins from March 31. As per sources, the new app aims to take on Dream11 and Mobile Premier League (MPL). In a tweet, Grover wrote, "Biggest revolution in Cricket since IPL - only fantasy game paying cricketers for performance. Where you win, cricketer wins, cricket wins."

Court Grants Bail To Social Media Influencer Sapna Gill In Prithvi Shaw Selfie Row
A court in Delhi granted bail to social media influencer Sapna Gill and three other accused in the Cricketer Prithvi Shaw selfie row. The three were accused of pertaining to alleged manhandling of India cricketer Prithvi Shaw and attacking his car with a baseball bat in Mumbai last week. Earlier in the day, the court Shobhit Thakur, Rudra Solanki and Sahil Singh to 14-day judicial custody, but later got bail.
