Eight People Booked In Cricketer Prithvi Shaw Selfie Row
Oshiwara Police registered a case of riot, extortion and criminal intimidation against eight people for attacking cricketer Prithvi Shaw in a selfie row. Notably, on February 16, two women approached Shaw for a selfie which soon escalated into an argument and fight. They smashed Shaw's car, attacked him and demanded Rs 50,000. Of eight two were identified asShobhit Thakur and Sana or Sapna Gill, who denied allegations, said police.

Australian Cricketer Aaron Finch Announces Retirement From ODI Format
Australia white-ball skipper Aaron Finch announced his retirement from One-day International (ODI) cricket. The announcement came on September 10, with the third and final match against New Zealand in Cairns being his last ODI game, starting from September 11. Finch's retirement from 50-over international cricket means he will not lead the Kangaroos in the 2023 World Cup next year in India. However, he will play T-20 World Cup.

Pakistan wicket-keeper batter Mohammad Rizwan is set to undergo a precautionary MRI scan after sustaining a strain in his right leg during the five-wicket win over arch-rivals India. Notably, Pakistan won against India in the Super 4 stage of the South Asia Cup 2022. Rizwan sustained the strain while landing awkwardly on his right leg in his effort to collect Mohammad Hasnain's delivery during India's innings, reported local media.

England Cricketer Katherine Brunt Retires From Test Cricket
Katherine Brunt, an all-rounder for England, revealed her retirement from Test cricket on June 18, after a 17-year, 162-day career. The 36-year-old made her Test debut against New Zealand in 2004 and played her final match in Canberra earlier this year against Meg Lanning's Australia. South African Cricketer Mondli Khumalo Out Of Coma After Being Attacked
