Rahul Sharma, the priest in Madhya Pradesh's Ujjain, who came to the rescue of a 12-year-old rape survivor, has described the horrifying state she was in when he found her. Rahul Sharma who works with an ashram in Badnagar road said, "I gave her my clothes. She was bleeding. She could not speak. Her eyes were swollen. I called 100. Police reached the ashram in about 20 minutes."
A man allegedly opened fire after a dispute with a woman in which she had a narrow escape but her dog died, police said on Tuesday. The incident took place in Vijay Nagar locality when Kalpana Chaturvedi was walking her dog, they said. Police said she had some dispute with Arvind Verma Bhullan, a lawyer, who abused and threatened her. Bhullan then opened fire which killed the dog.
A Dalit woman was brutally assaulted over a loan in Patna. The victim claimed, the accused stripped her naked, thrashed her and forced her to drink urine. The incident occurred on September 24, in Bihar's Patna region, after the victim filed a complaint with the police, about the injustice of the money lender identtified as Anshu Singha and Pramod. The accused escaped and a manhunt to nab him has been launched.

Delhi Police booked two unidentified youths who allegedly brandished a gun while threatening a man during a quarrel after their motorcycle collided with his parked car in Bhajanpura in northeast Delhi. Happened on September 18, the incident was captured on a purported CCTV, which appeared on social media and showed that the motorcycle rider lost control of the vehicle which rammed into the stationary car.

In a shocking incident, a cow was dragged for about 200-metres after being hit by a car in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad. The entire incident was caught on CCTV camera. The video of the incident is doing rounds on social media. After the incident, the accused fled the spot. Meanwhile, the cattle is being treated at a nearby animal hospital and is said to be critical and a case is registered.
In a shocking incident, a youth was shot dead early morning on September 1. The body was found at one of the residences of Union Minister of State (MoS) and MP Kaushal Kishore, in Begaria area of Dubagga in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The youth, and identified as BJP worker Vinay Srivastava and was shot at his head. Furthermore, sources confirmed weapon as pistol, registered under BJP MP's son.
An offence has been registered against four employees of a hospital in Navi Mumbai for allegedly assaulting a woman contract worker at the facility, As per police, the case was registered under sections 354 (assault or use of criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 506 (criminal intimidation) and other relevant provisions of the Indian Penal Code for the incident that took place at a hospital.
After Delhi, a rape incident has been reported in Telangana's Meerpet region. Eight men forcefully barged in a residence in Meerpet and allegedly gangraped a 15-year-old minor girl. Getting into the details, the victim was alone at her cousin's house. The victim who is an orphan, was living with her cousin. Of the eight who entered house, three allegedly raped the girl. A case is registered and investigation is underway.

A chilling incident of hit-and-run was reported from Nagpur near the Airport road. Visuals from there showed how two bikers identified as Rakesh Gate and Akash Tekam were thrown off the two-wheeler after a car hit them and were recklessly dragged for three kilometres. The car driver instead of attending the injured bikers chose to continue driving on the road. The Nagpur Police is on the lookout for the accused.
