MP Police Seize 2.5 Kg MDMA Worth Rs 2 Crore From Burhanpur District
Madhya Pradesh Burhanpur police seized 2.5 Kg of MDMA drug or Ecstasy worth Rs 2 crore on January 17. Following a tip-off, the Burhanpur SP Rahul Kumar laid a trap arresting four suspects with the prohibited consignment. Suspecting a trail from Indore, the MP police have detected a Mumbai-Indore link in the drug deal. Reportedly, the seizure happened just days after the Indore police busted India’s biggest drug party.

CBI Books UP Techie For Selling Child Porn Through Social Media
For allegedly selling child porn, the CBI on January 10 arrested an engineer from UP’s Sonbhadra district. The accused, Neeraj Yadav, used to advertise the objectionable material on Instagram and after receiving payments digitally, he used to share it on messaging apps. Neeraj revealed that he started this after losing job during the pandemic. Besides, the CBI has also booked his Delhi-based friend Kuljeet Singh Makan under the POCSO Act.

Delhi: Chinese Man Arrested Over Loan Scam Through Fake Call Centres
A 27-year-old Chinese national, charged of running fake call centres, was arrested from the Delhi airport on December 30 by the Hyderabad Police. Kerala Cyber Cops Arrests 41 People For Promoting Child Pornography
Registering 339 cases, the Kerala cyber police arrested 41 people on December 28 for allegedly promoting child pornography. ADGP Manoj Abraham said that under a special operation the police had raided 596 locations and seized 392 computers and mobile phones. While most of the confiscated content belonged to children between the ages of 6 to 15 years, ADGP Abraham said, “We have zero-tolerance towards such offences”.
