Criminal With Reward Of Rs 50,000 Arrested During Intensive Checking In UP

A criminal carrying a reward of Rs 50,000 was injured in an encounter here and subsequently arrested, confirmed the Uttar Pradesh on August 15. As per PTI, the encounter took place in Jagannathpur village in the Gopiganj police station area. The arrest was made during an intensive checking, in then view of Independence Day. Notably, the wanted criminal has been identified as Rajesh Gaur (36).

50 Criminals Surrender After Yogi Adityanath Comes Back In Power: UP

With the second term of the Yogi Adityanath led-BJP in UP, around 50 criminals surrendered themselves in fear of encounters. 5 Criminals Arrested With Incriminating Materials: Meghalaya

In Meghalaya's East Jaintia Hills district, Meghalaya police have arrested five criminals and recovered one AK-47 rifle, AK series ammunition, and machetes in a special operation. "A special operation on the intervening night of March 11-12 led to the arrest of five hardcore criminals," police said. Furthermore, with the help of the Guwahati police, the accused were arrested from Guwahati. However, a further probe is underway.

The special cell of Delhi police has arrested the most wanted gangster "Kala Jatheri" and woman don "Anuradha" on July 30. Jatheri was active in multiple Indian states for offenses like extortion and Murder, while Anuradha was active in Rajasthan and was associated with kidnapping, extortion, and murder conspiracy. Police are probing for Jatheri's gang members who are apparently disseminated across various Indian states.

Bangladesh: Power-Tussle Between Two Groups In Rohingya Camps Kills 8

The Bangladesh authorities have arrested 12 people from Rohingya refugee camps in southern Bangladesh after a dispute, which resulted in at least eight casualties, broke out between two criminal groups. The police on October 8 informed that the two groups, suspected to be involved in drugs and human trafficking, are fighting to control the area. Reportedly, the power-tussle between the groups has forced thousands to leave the camps.
