In the first half, left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko set up the first goal, while attacker Gabriel Jesus generated many chances and defender William Saliba played flawlessly in his debut start for Arsenal. "The way we started the game, the way we played the first half an hour, I think was superb," stated Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.
