AB, B Blood Groups Have Higher Chances Of Contracting COVID: CSIR

A study by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has suggested that people with AB or B blood groups and non-vegetarians are likely to contract COVID-19 more than the others. The study also found that the O blood group is the least susceptible to COVID 19. Reportedly, over 10 thousand samples collected from across the country were studied by a group of 140 doctors for the study.

Govt Rejects Claims Of Vegetarians, Smokers Being Less Vulnerable To COVID

The PIB Fact Check Twitter account, in its clarification statement on April 26, has rejected those claims that opined that vegetarians and smokers are less prone to COVID-19 infection.
