Maharashtra government has allotted 10 acres of land to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams for the construction of a Tirupati temple. Maharashtra Tourism Minister Aaditya Thackeray shared an image on Twitter, which shows him handing over the official letter of land allotment to TTD CEO Dharma Reddy. He wrote, "It was my greatest honour to humbly hand over the official letter of allotment of Land for the Lord Venkateswara Temple."

Amit Shah has suggested that Indians should read philosopher and poet Sri Aurobindo's works to understand the nation's soul.
