Australia Reports Hindu Temple Vandalism Incident By Khalistanis
In Australia, another incident of Hindu temple vandalism was reported on March 4. Notably, Shree Laxmi Narayan Mandir (Temple) in Brisbane's Burbank suburb was vandalised by Khalistani groups, causing distress to the local Hindu community. Abandoned Painting Covered In Bird Poop Sold At $3 Millions At Auction
A painting covered with bird poop was auctioned worth $3 millions. Bought for $600, the painting was rare work of rare Anthony van Dyck, which belonged to 17th century, was finally sold recently. This painting by Belgian portraitist and painter Dyck was sold for $3.1 million at an auction by Sotheby's, confirmed CNN report. It is to be noted, the Anthony van Dyck painting was abandoned, which was rediscovered recently.

Maharashtra Govt Allots 10 Acres Of Land To TTD For Temple Construction
Maharashtra government has allotted 10 acres of land to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams for the construction of a Tirupati temple. Maharashtra Tourism Minister Aaditya Thackeray shared an image on Twitter, which shows him handing over the official letter of land allotment to TTD CEO Dharma Reddy. He wrote, "It was my greatest honour to humbly hand over the official letter of allotment of Land for the Lord Venkateswara Temple."

Gen VK Singh, Scindia Inaugurate Mega 'Yog Prabha'
Union Civil Aviation Minister and Jyotiraditya Scindia and State Civil Aviation Minister Gen (Rtd) inaugurated the mega 'Yog Prabha' at the Safdarjung Airport in New Delhi on 25th April. Some of the activities to be conducted during the 'Yog Prabha' event include 'Yoga Demonstration' and 'Common Yoga Protocol,' among others. June 21 had been declared the International Yoga Day by the United Nations General Assembly in 2014.

Delhi HC To Hear Suit On Restoring Temples At Qutub Minar Complex
The Delhi High Court will hear a case on December 24 considering the restoration of 27 Hindu and Jain temples in the Qutub Minar complex. Reportedly, a plea was filed on behalf of Lord Vishnu and Tirthankar Lord Rishab Dev by three advocates on 'next friend' basis. The suit has sought restoration under Article 25 and 26 of Indian Constitution which offers Right to Religion and demands to create a trust.
