Hyderabad Airport Officials Seize Gold Worth Rs 21 Lakhs

Custom Department Seizes Gold Worth Rs 1.36 Crore At Hyderabad Airport

The Customs officials, at the Hyderabad Airport, seized 2175.800 grams of gold worth Rs 1.36 Crore. Gold Chains and paste have been recovered from a passenger who arrived from Dubai, on January 21. The valuable items were concealed in his hand-in bag and check-in luggage, recovered from the man during an interception by the officials. The Hyderabad customs department had put out a tweet sharing the details of the seizure.

Customs Department Confiscate Hardik Pandya's Watches Worth Rs 5 Cr: Mumbai

The Mumbai Customs Department confiscated two wrist watches worth Rs 5 crores from cricketer Hardik Pandya at the airport on November 14 after he arrived without an invoice receipt. Hardik Pandya was on his way back from Dubai. Incidentally, Hardik's brother, cricketer Krunal Pandya, was detained at Mumbai International Airport last year on suspicion of having unreported gold and other assets.

Woman Smuggling 2.41 Kg Gold Arrested At Mangaluru Airport

Customs officials at Mangaluru International Airport on March 11 seized 2.41 kg gold from Mohammad Ali Sameera that she was carrying in her undergarments.
