Gujarat Govt Faces Challenge Of Restoration Works In Cyclone Biparjoy Affected Villages
After fighting the severe 'Cyclone Biparjoy' the Gujarat Administration and Government need to face a bigger challenge of re-establishment. Due to the 10 days Cyclone, the coastal region of the State, including Kutch, Morbi and other regions, is devastated with major loss of properties and lives. Of other challenges, the immediate one is to restore electricity for 300 villages and clearing roads, blocked with uprooted trees and others.

Cyclone Biparjoy Heads To Rajasthan, IMD Alerts Heavy Rainfall
After destruction in Gujarat, Cyclone Biparjoy is headed towards Rajasthan. Landed in Gujarat's coastal region on June 15, the 'severe cyclone' Biparjoy is now making its way to Rajasthan. The IMD has issued an intense alert, following which the Congress-led Rajasthan Government has made elaborate disaster management arrangements. Meanwhile, the IMD alerted extremely heavy rainfall in Rajasthan's many regions on June 16 and 17.

Biparjoy Cyclone To Intensify, Govt Evacuates Over 37,000 People

Mumbai Juhu Beach Incident: 4 Bodies Of Youths Recovered
In a heartbreaking incident, four out of the five boys who went missing on Juhu Beach recently on June 12, were found dead while one is still missing. According to officials one person still remains missing and the search operation is under way. The incident unfolded between 4:30 pm and 5 pm on June 12, amid the high wave that happened due to the intensified cyclone Biparjoy.

Biparjoy Cyclone In Gujarat, NCMC Holds Review Meeting
The National Crisis Management Committee (NCMC) met and reviewed the preparedness of the Gujarat government and central agencies for the impending Cyclone Biparjoy. The management also assured Gujarat of all help. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea and those at sea have been called back to safe berth,said official. Furthermore, a total of 21,000 boats have been parked so far and rescue operation is underway.
