Madras HC Grants Conditional Bail To AIADMK Leader D Jayakumar
AIADMK leader and the Former Minister D Jayakumar, walked out of Puzhal jail to a warm reception from his supporters on March 12. The minister was arrested for allegedly grabbing land near Thoraipakkam. However, on March 11, Madras High Court granted conditional bail. "Mini emergency going on in the state of Tamil Nadu," Jayakumar mentioned while talking to reporters. Reportedly, D Jayakumar was arrested on February 28, 2022.

Chennai's Outlet Launches 'Gilli Chai' - A Women Driven Mobile e-Cart
In a unique initiative, Chennai-based outlet ‘Gilli Chai,’ launched a mobile tea shop driven by women on electric rickshaws at Chennai's Saidapet Metro station. The outlets will serve tea, coffee snacks and biscuits.
