American singer Cardi B has posted a controversial tweet, after the controversial video of the Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama. In her tweet, the rapper talked about predators and the need to talk to children about boundaries. The shared post has received nearly 7.5 million views and over 10,000  retweets, with a divided reaction. While some have agreed with the singer, others asked her to be cautious.

Dalai Lama Apologizes To Child After Controversial Kissing Video

Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama apologized to a boy and his family, after his video went viral. Notably, the Dalai Lama has issued an apology after a video of him kissing a child sparked a controversy. In a tweet, the Buddhist monk said that he regrets the ‘hurt’ induced by his words and addressed the apology to the boy in the viral video, his family and ‘friends all over the world’.

Dalai Lama's Security Dog Duka Sold For This Amount In Auction

Tibetian spiritual leader Dalai Lama's loyal dog was sold at $20 dollar. On February 11, the Labrador breed dog named Duka was with Dalai Lama for over a decade and ensured his security, finally retired from his duty and was sold after an auction, said the Himachal Pradesh Police. Now nine-months-old Tommy, purchased for Rs 3 lakhs, trained by the Punjab Police is the new security dog of Dalai Lama.

Chinese Leaders “Don’t Understand” Variety Of Cultures; Say’s Dalai Lama

Spiritual leader Dalai Lama slammed the Chinese leaders, saying they don’t understand the variety of different cultures. The spiritual leader was reported to be making these remarks in an online news conference of Al Jazeera, held in Tokyo. He further criticized Chinese leaders for being narrow-minded, applauded “India” as a center of religious harmony. Furthermore, the leader said he had no plans to meet Chinese president, Xi Jin Ping.

Tibetans Vote From 26 Nations To Elect Next Sikyong (President)

Around 1.3 lakh Tibetans living in 26 countries on April 11 casted their vote to elect Sikyong (President) and 45 members for the Dharamshala-based parliament-in-exile. The eligible nominees included Pempa Tsering and Aukatsang Kelsang Dorjee for the post of Sikyong. While the results are slated to be declared on May 14, the elected representative would be responsible to provide democratic governance to exiled Tibetans.
