Dalit Man

In Madhya Pradesh's Sagar district, a Dalit teen was allegedly beaten to death by mob over a sexual harassment case filed by the victim's sister in 2019.  His sister was also beaten and his mother was stripped naked when she tried to save her son from the attackers. Nine people have been charged with murder and three will face charges under the SC/ST Act. Eight people have been arrested.

In a shocking incident, a Telangana Dalit man was beaten to death for stealing cable wires. At 1 am, on March 26, the villagers of Gummadidala, in Sangareddy district, beaten the man identified as M Mallesh, who died on March 27, 6 am. In Rajasthan's Alwar, a Dalit man Rajesh Kumar Meghwal was forced to rub his nose at a Hindu temple and apologize for the derogatory remarks against The Kashmir Files" and Hindu Gods, hurting religious sentiments. In Facebook post, he said, not only pandits but Dalits too are facing atrocities. Notably, the police registered a case and arrested 11 people in the matter.
