The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has wrote to Supreme Court commission, seeking to take action against a teacher in Rajasthan who is accused of murdering a dalit student. BJP's National General Secretary Tarun Chugh in his letter, stated that the student was beaten to death for drinking water from the teacher's pot. The incident took place at a private school in Rajasthan's Surana village on July 20.

In Madhya Pradesh's Rajgarh region, a group of people from Dangi community allegedly threw stones at the wedding venue of a Dalit man. The accused were against the Dalit groom entering their village and to stop that, they threw stones. After the police were informed, the marriage procession was carried out under police security. Furthermore, five people were arrested in connection with the incident and investigation is launched.

In Uttar Pradesh's Rae Bareli, another incident of caste-based violence went viral on social media platforms. In the video, a minor Dalit boy was being assaulted and forced to lick the feet of the accused. In the two-minute-thirty-second video, the accused on a motorbike was asking the victim to say "Thakur" and said, "Will you make such a mistake again?" The police registered a case and booked the accused.

In Rajasthan's Alwar, a Dalit man Rajesh Kumar Meghwal was forced to rub his nose at a Hindu temple and apologize for the derogatory remarks against The Kashmir Files" and Hindu Gods, hurting religious sentiments. In Facebook post, he said, not only pandits but Dalits too are facing atrocities. Notably, the police registered a case and arrested 11 people in the matter. In Maharashtra's Latur, villagers allegedly boycotted the local Dalit community over a dispute temple entry dispute. As per reports, two Dalit youngsters entered a Hanuman temple and broke a coconut, which became a huge issue, resulting "Dalit boycott". A video of a flour mill owner refusing to grind Dalit's grain also went viral. However, the police confirmed that the dispute has been resolved following a peace committee meeting.
