Security Personnel Carry Pregnant Woman To Hospital In Makeshift Cot: Chhattisgarh

In Chhattisgarh's Dantewada district, security personnel carried a pregnant woman who needed medical attention to a hospital, on April 19. Since the roads in the area were allegedly damaged due to naxals, ambulances are reportedly inoperable in the area. Reportedly, when the family members were carrying the woman in a makeshift cot, the District Reserve Guard Force personnel who were conducting an anti-naxal operation, decided to help.

Chhattisgarh Security Forces Kill Maoist Having Rs 5 Lakh Bounty On Him

The Chhattisgarh Police's District Reserve Guard wing on April 20 killed a Naxal in an encounter in Dantewada. A 9-mm pistol, three kg IED, backpacks and a muzzle-loading gun have also been recovered from the encounter site. Identified as Kosa, the Maoist "military intelligence in charge" had a Rs 5 lakh bounty on him. Reportedly, he was the mastermind behind at least 15 Naxal attacks.

CRPF Unearths 30 Kg Explosives In Chattisgarh's Dantewada

The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has unearthed 30 Kg of explosives during a de-mining exercise in Chattisgarh’s Dantewada district. Planted by Naxals, the Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was found packed in a plastic container on an under-construction road on January 19. Noticing it, the Bomb Disposal Squad neutralised the IED.
