Flower Festival Organized In Siliguri: West Bengal
The Government of West Bengal on February 19, organized a five-day flower show at Siliguri's Kanchenjunga Stadium. West Bengal Allows Tourism to Popular Hill Stations; Sikkim to Allow Soon
West Bengal's hill stations Kalimpong and Darjeeling have resumed tourism activities after a 6-month shutdown. The state government has permitted hotels to resume their services while adhering to the social distancing norms and maintaining hygiene. Besides, Sikkim, one of the first states in the country to ban the entry of tourists, is also set to be reopened in October. Sikkim had banned tourists since March 16, 2020.
