Users Express Anger On Twitter Against Airtel's Privacy Policy

Users have expressed outrage against Airtel after it surfaced that the company can allegedly collect sensitive personal data and information (SPDI) and share it with other parties. Reportedly, the company's privacy policy allows it to collected data and share that with third parties - in and outside India - for services. Meanwhile, Airtel, while addressing the users' concerns, confirmed to revaluate the policy and "make necessary amends".

France: TikTok Faces Investigation by a Data Privacy Watchdog

France's privacy watchdog CNIL has initiated a probe against TikTok, a Chinese short-form video-sharing app. According to a CNIL spokesperson, the watchdog started investigation after a complaint about TikTok was received in May.
