ED Custody For Nawab Malik Extended Till March 7 In Money Laundering Case
Minority affairs minister of Maharashtra Nawab Malik's ED custody has been extended till March 7, by a special court. The custody has been extended to further the probe into the case. Malik was arrested on February 23 after a 5-hour interrogation as part of the money laundering probe. He is also suspected to have ties with fugitive and underworld don Dawood Ibrahim.

BJP Received Rs 20 Crores From Mumbai Blast Accused: NCP MLA Gote
Anil Gote, NCP MLA and former BJP MLA said that in 2014 former CM Devendra Fadnavis got Rs 20 crores from RKW Developers Ltd, alleged with late Iqbal Memon, a former confidant of don Dawood Ibrahim. Gote said in 2014-2015, BJP received Rs 10 crore from RKW and another Rs 10 crores from other real estate. NCP MLA Gote has filed a complaint with the ED against BJP and Fadnavis.

NCP Leader Nawab Malik Moves Bombay HC, Demands Release In ED Case
NCP leader and Maharashtra Cabinet Minister Nawab Malik, on March 1, filed a petition in the Bombay High Court, asking to quash the money laundering case, seeking release from ED custody over his illegal arrest. Notably, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) registered a money laundering case linked with underworld Dawood Ibrahim against Nawab. Furthermore, Malik has been remanded to ED until March 3, by a Bombay court.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids at the residence of Dawood Ibrahim's sister Haseena Parkar in Mumbai, on February 15. The search was carried out in connection with the money laundering case. In addition, ED is investigating several sites in Mumbai that are linked to the people associated with the underworld. Dawood Ibrahim's close aid and an accused in the 1993 Mumbai blast has been held in UAE. After 29 years of search, on February 5, Abu Bakar has been arrested, following which India started his extradition process. Notably, Bakar was residing in UAE and Pakistan and escaped arrest in the past. He was responsible for 12 series of bomb blasts in Mumbai then Bombay, killing 257 people.
