Three Missing Children Found Dead In Car: Nagpur

In a tragic unfortunate incide, the police found dead bodies of three missing children, in Nagpur, Maharashtra. On June 19, the police found the bodies in a car at Farukh Nagar, under Panchpavali Police station. Getting into the details, the three children, identified as Taufiq Firoz Kham, Aaliya Firoz Khan and Afreed Ishad Khan were playing in the parked car. They locked the door and died of suffocation and heat.

Two Bodies Found At UP's Ballia Station, Police Registers Case

In Uttar Pradesh's Ballia region, two people, a man (20) and a woman (25) were found dead on the railway track of the North Eastern Railway, confirmed police on April 30. As per PTI, the bodies were recovered from the Majhi rail bridge between Bakulha-Majhi railway stations. Furthermore, PR Patel, the Stationmaster of Bakulha railway station informed the police, who registered a case and launched an investigation.

2 Including A 4-Year-Old Boy Die After Being Hit By Speeding Car: UP

Two persons including a four-year-old boy lost their lives in a road accident in Uttar Pradesh's Bahdura, after being hit by a speeding car on January 23. The incident took place when two students were speeding in a car to appear for an exam, lost control and hit Dinesh Sharma (48) and Soni (4), whose bodies were sent for postmortem. Reportedly, the students have been detained.

Himachal's Kinnaur Landslide: Death Toll Up 13, 60 Feared Missing

With rescue teams recovering more bodies on August 12, the death toll in Himachal's Kinnaur district landslide has risen to 13. Authorities and locals have hinted that more dead bodies are likely to be found during further search operations. Meanwhile, officials said that "60 others are feared of being trapped under debris after several vehicles, including a bus carrying 24 passengers", following the August 11 landslide.

Rising Water Level In Ganga Unearths Dead Bodies In Uttar Pradesh

The oncoming monsoons have risen the water levels in Ganga, unearthing many dead bodies. The bodies have been witnessed floating in the river in UP's Prayagraj, a mark of the devastation brought about by the pandemic. Several videos recorded by local journalists & citizens showed bodies being fished out of the river, on June 23-24. However, it is speculated that the floating bodies are those of COVID-19 patients.

K'taka To Punish Hospitals Refusing To Give COVID Bodies Over Dues

The Karnataka government has directed all district administrations to cancel registration of private hospitals that refuse to hand over  bodies of COVID-19 victims to families due to incomplete payment. Over 2,000 Dead Bodies Recovered From Ganga Ghats In Uttar Pradesh

Several districts in UP have reportedly recovered over 2,000 dead bodies near the banks of Ganga river having 1,140 km stretch in the state. As per sources, Unnao has uncovered most number of bodies (900) along with Kanpur (400). Besides, Kannauj (350), Ghazipur (280), Prayagraj, Varanasi and Mirzapur have also witnessed such unclaimed bodies. Reportedly, many bodies were buried in soil, while many were seen floated to the ghats.

Uttar Pradesh: Dead Bodies Found Buried In Sand At Ganga Ghat In Unnao

Multiple dead bodies, wrapped in saffron cloth, were found buried in the sand at Rautapur Ganga Ghat in UP's Unnao district on May 13. District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar said a probe has been ordered and more such bodies are being searched in other areas. However, it is not confirmed if the bodies were of COVID patients. Reportedly, the rise in prices of cremation may have caused the burial.
