Trinamool Congress Defectors To BJP Queue Up To Return
According to reports, TMC defectors to BJP are now seeking return to the party, a month after BJP's defeat in West Bengal Assembly Elections. The turncoat leaders including MLA Sonali Guha, Dipendu Biswas, Rajib Banerjee, Sarala Murmu, Amal Acharya are looking towards the TMC leadership. Interestingly, Mukul Roy's son announced his father’s return to TMC in a Facebook post, which was termed as a rumour by the BJP.

INC Witnessed Most Defections From 2016-20; Major Joined BJP: Report
The Association for Democratic Reform’s report has revealed that during 2016-2020, BJP was the leading choice for maximum defecting legislators, and Congress witnessed most desertions. TMC Gets Another Jolt; Minister Hansda, MLA Sankar Dutta Defect To BJP
West Bengal Minister Bachchu Hansda and Tehatta MLA Gouri Shankar Dutta joined the BJP on March 10. Relatedly, MP Pratima Mondal's sister Jayashree Mondal and actor Bonny Sengupta also joined the saffron camp in presence of State BJP President Dilip Ghosh. Welcoming defectors, Ghosh said, "This is the beginning of the end of TMC... as they have lost faith in.. functioning of TMC."

Bihar LJP Faces Another Jolt As 175 Functionaries Defect To BJP
Bihar's Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) has witnessed nearly 175 functionaries, mainly panchayat presidents, defecting to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
