Indian Coast Guard Ship 'Saksham' Dedicated To Nation
Defence secretary Ajay Kumar commissioned Indian coast guard ship 'Saksham' on March 16 in Goa. The ship comes fifth in the series of 105 M-class offshore patrol vessel. This vessel is named Saksham as part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's indigenous project in November 2016. The Indian Coast Guard tweeted about the ceremony which was conducted in the presence of Director General VS Pathania.

US Defence Secretary Mark Esper "Terminated" From Service
The US President Donald Trump on November 9 announced the country's Defence Secretary Mark Esper has been "terminated" from his position. Mark was immediately replaced by Christopher Miller, Director of the National Counterterrorism Center.
