Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhanush has announced a portal to facilitate suggestions on Uniform Civil Code (UCC). The chairman and members of the expert committee met CM Dhami in the secretariat and held a discussion on the matter. An approval was given in the first cabinet meeting, constituting an expert committee. Furthermore, Dhami lauded the committee’s work so far, and said that it has worked “expeditiously”.

The Uttarakhand police will soon arrest YouTuber Bobby Kataria for alleged drinking and threatening the police. He also sat on a chair and stopped the traffic in the middle of the road in the capital city of Dehradun. Notably, the police have obtained a non-bailable warrant against the accused from the district court. Further details on the matter are awaited.

In Uttarakhand's Ramanagar, a car was washed away in Dhela river, killing at least nine persons, on July 8. Also, one person was rescued from the incident. Reportedly, the incident occurred at around 5 am, and four bodies have been retrieved. Meanwhile, five bodies are still trapped in the car. According to the Deputy Inspector General of Police Nilesh Anand Bharan, the car is badly stuck. 

After Uttarakhand government allowed Dharm Sansad event despite prior notice, the Supreme Court expressed its dissatisfaction on the matter, on April 26. Also, at the event which is to be held in Roorkee, the apex court also asked the chief secretary to ensure that "no hate speeches are made". The Supreme Court also asked a top official to file and affidavit, explaining the preventing measures taken.

The Uttarakhand Government has signed an MoU with Meditrina Hospitals of Kerala for better treatment of heart patients. On March 17, the MoU was signed between Dr. Tripti Bahuguna, Director General, and Dr. N Prathap Kumar, Chairman and Managing Director of Meditrina Hospital. "The special thing about this will be that treatment and surgery related to heart disease in children can also be done here," said Praveen Tiwari.
