Rishabh Pant To Lead Delhi Capitals After Shreyas Ruled Out Of IPL 2021

Wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant is set to lead the Delhi Capitals after Shreyas Iyer has been ruled out of the IPL 2021 following his shoulder injury. About the opportunity, Pant said, "To lead this team one day is a dream I've always harboured.” With the Capitals' campaign starting from April 10, Pant will make his captaincy debut against Chennai Super Kings. Meanwhile, Shreyas said Pant is "the best man for the job".
