DDMA To Decide On COVID-19 Restrictions Lift, Holds Meeting
The Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) is to decide the reopening of schools in the National Capital, on January 27. The decision will be announced after a scheduled meeting amid COVID-19 situation. Notably, after the recent Coronavirus surge, the Delhi Government announced to close offline classes for schools. The DDMA will also decide to lift othe curbs, as COVID-19 cases are declining in the national capital.

Unvaccinated Teachers' Should Not Be Allowed To Take Class: Delhi Edu Dept
Udit Prakash Rai, Delhi's Education Department Director wrote a letter to the district's education officials and said, teachers who are unvaccinated by October 15 should not be allowed to take classes. Reportedly, their absence will be counted as leave (LoP). However, schools have opened and it's our responsibility to take effective measures, he added. Moreover, the classes from nursery to VIII will be opened after the festive season.
