Coal Shortage May Lead Power Outage For Metros, Hospital: Delhi Govt
In view of the coal shortage, the Aam Aadmi Party-led Delhi government warned of a possible interruption of electricity supply to important establishments like metro trains and hospitals. On April 28, the Arvind Kejriwal government released a statement that read, "Due to disruption of power supply from Dadri-II and Unchahar power stations, there may be a problem in 24-hours power supply". The statement came after an emergency meeting.

The Delhi Government is to provide free NEET and JEE coaching classes to class X-XII students, announced Education Minister Manish Sisodia. Punjab CM Channi To File Suit Against Delhi CM Kejriwal
Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi on January 21 said that he would file a defamation case against Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, for calling him a 'dishonest man', following ED raids at some places including the premises of Channi's nephew. Channi claimed that Kejriwal has crossed the limits, and sought permission of party to file a case against him. Kejriwal had earlier called Channi "a dishonest man" after an ED raid.

Governer Allows Private Offices To Run With 50% Staff: Delhi
Delhi government's proposal to allow functioning of private offices with 50% staff has been approved by Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal on January 21. Govt In Delhi Plans To Lift Weekend Curfew: COVID-19
In view of a decline in number of COVID-19 cases, a proposal to lift weekend curfew has been submitted by the Delhi government to end the "odd even" system for opening of shops and allow private offices to run with 50% capacity. The proposal was sent to Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal for his consent, said sources. Notably, the positivity rate in Delhi dipped to 21.48%, as per latest data.

Delhi Govt To Provide Yoga Classes For Isolated COVID-19 Patients
