AAP Leader Tears Down Notice By Delhi LG VK Saxena: New Delhi
Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh tore a defamation notice sent by Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena. On September 7, Sanjay held a press conference and said, he is not "afraid of any legal notices whatsoever.'' Notably, Sanjay Singh and other AAP leader got a notice in connection with the Khadi scam. Notably, Sanjay not only tore notice, but called for his immediate sacking from the Constitutional post.

Lieutenant Governor Grants Special Powers To Delhi Police Chief Under NSA
Under the National Security Act, Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal has granted the Delhi Police chief detention authority until October 18. It comes before Independence Day and amidst the ongoing farmers' protest at Jantar Mantar. “The Delhi Police Commissioner may also exercise the powers of detaining authority under sub-section (2) of the Section 3 of the aforesaid Act,” the notification read.
