AAP To Hold PAC Meeting, Discuss Presidential Candidate Support
Aam Aadmi Party's political advisory committee(PAC) is set to meet on July 16, to discuss about the Presidential elections and their support to the candidate. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and other members of the PAC, including Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, Punjab MP Raghav Chadha, and MLA Atishi will attend the PAC meeting. Notably, the AAP, which has MLAs in Goa, Punjab and Delhi.

Justice Satish Chandra Sharma Takes Over As Chief Justice Of Delhi HC
Former Telangana HC Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma took oath as the Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court, on June 28. Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena administered the oath to Sharma at the Raj Nivas, in a small ceremony. Notably, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, AAP MLAs, leaders and Delhi HC officials attended the event. Furthermore, Justice Satish Chandra Sharma took over, after former CJ DN Patel's retirement.

Delhi Govt Imposes Weekend Curfew; Metro To Operate At 100% Capacity
The Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) imposed a weekend curfew in the national capital to curb the spread of COVID-19. Meanwhile, nobody will be allowed to travel for non-essential reasons. Moreover, government offices, barring essential services, have been asked to allow their employees to work from home. Private offices can operate at 50% capacity. However, buses and metro can run at 100% seating capacity, as per the order.

Night Curfew Imposed In Delhi To Curb COVID-19 Spread
Delhi Government imposed a night curfew in the capital to curb the spread of COVID-19, starting from December 27. The curfew will be effective between 11 pm to 5 pm. The decision came after the positivity rate was recorded at 0.5% for two consecutive days. If the rate crosses 1%, the government can also impose a weekend curfew. The complete lockdown may take place if the rate breaches 5%.
