Remand Of Manish Sisodia Extended Till March 6 : Delhi Liquor Scam
The judicial custody of former Deputy CM of Delhi Manish Sisodia has been extended till March 6. The judicial custody to the CBI was remanded in connection with the Delhi Liquor Policy Scam, which is being investigated by the CBI. Sisodia, who is the prime accused into the matter was arrested on February 28, following which he was remanded till March 4. Today, Delhi HC granted an extension to custody.

Delhi HC Grants Bail To Ex NSE Chairman Chitra Ramakrishna
The Delhi High Court (HC) granted bail to Ex NSE Chairman Chitra Ramakrishna in illegal phone tapping and money laundering case. On February 8, the Delhi HC Justice Jasmeet Singh said, "The application is allowed. The applicant is granted bail." Chitra Ramakrishna was arrested by CBI in the money laundering case by the ED, which opposed her bail saying, she is a 'mastermind'. The matter is still under investigation.

Delhi HC Directs Railways To Submit Report Regarding Contaminated Water Supply Allegations

Uddhav Thackeray-Led Shiv Sena Files Petition Against ED's Symbol Freezing Order
The Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena faction approached the Delhi High Court seeking a quashing of the order of the Election Commission of India (ECI) freezing the party name and election symbol. On October 10, the Thackeray saction filed a petition and has challenged ECI's October 8 order, contending it was passed in complete violation of principles of natural justice and without granting any hearing to the parties.

EX JNU Student Sharjeel Imam Gets Bail In Sedition Case: Delhi HC

Delhi HC Issues Interim Order In Favour Of Lt Governor Saxena In Defamation Case
The Delhi High Court (HC) issued notice and passed an interim order in favour of Delhi Lt. General Vinay Kumar Saxena, regarding a defamation case, filed against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs. Notably, AAP leaders accused Saxena of illegal corrupt activities in Delhi. However, Delhi Lt. General denied the allegations and filed an interim injunction against AAP leaders, asking them to restrain from levelling baseless allegations.

Ex Gogi Gang Member’s Bail Plea Rejected By Delhi HC
Delhi HC has rejected the interim bail plea of an ex Gogi Gang member, who had sought for bail on the grounds of his mother’s surgery. He had contended that no one is there to look after his mother. Delhi HC Dismisses Plea Seeking Financial Aid To Newly Enrolled Advocates

The Delhi High Court has allowed the release of Ranbir Kapoor-starrer film 'Shamshera' on OTT platforms subject to Yash Raj Films depositing Rs. 1 crore with its registry. On August 19, tice Jyoti Singh passed the orders on a lawsuit by Bikramjeet Singh Bhullar alleging infringement of his copyright in the literary work 'Kabu na chhadein Khet' by the filmmakers.
