Delhi HC Issues Summon To BBC Over PM Modi Documentary

The matter of BBC's controversial documentary on "PM Narendra Modi" reached the Delhi HC. The court issued a summon to the BBC after a NGO filed a defamation case, saying the documentary casts a slur on the reputation of India. In the plea, the NGO's lawyer said, " documentary makes defamatory imputation and cast a slur on the reputation of the country." Reacting to it, HC issued summon orders.

Remand Of Manish Sisodia Extended Till March 6 : Delhi Liquor Scam

The judicial custody of former Deputy CM of Delhi Manish Sisodia has been extended till March 6. The judicial custody to the CBI was remanded in connection with the Delhi Liquor Policy Scam, which is being investigated by the CBI. Sisodia, who is the prime accused into the matter was arrested on February 28, following which he was remanded till March 4. Today, Delhi HC granted an extension to custody.

Delhi HC Grants Bail To Ex NSE Chairman Chitra Ramakrishna

The Delhi High Court (HC) granted bail to Ex NSE Chairman Chitra Ramakrishna in illegal phone tapping and money laundering case. On February 8, the Delhi HC Justice Jasmeet Singh said, "The application is allowed. The applicant is granted bail." Chitra Ramakrishna was arrested by CBI in the money laundering case by the ED, which opposed her bail saying, she is a 'mastermind'. The matter is still under investigation.

Delhi HC Issues Interim Order In Favour Of Lt Governor Saxena In Defamation Case

The Delhi High Court (HC) issued notice and passed an interim order in favour of Delhi Lt. General Vinay Kumar Saxena, regarding a defamation case, filed against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs. Notably, AAP leaders accused Saxena of illegal corrupt activities in Delhi. However, Delhi Lt.
