Delhi Health Budget Down By 1.6% In 2022-2023

During Delhi Budget 2022-23, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia said, around Rs 1,900 crore for construction of four new hospitals and revamping 15 hospitals. With these over 16,000 hospital beds will be added, said Sisodia. The Deputy CM also added, "A QR code-based e-health card will be made available to all citizens. An outlay of Rs 70 crore is proposed in the budget for the year 2022-23 for this scheme."

Delhi Reports 2 New Omicron Cases; Tally Touches 24

The National Capital on December 19, reported two new cases of COVID-19's new Variant, Omicron, increasing the tally to 24. "Out of 24 patients, 12 have been discharged and 12 are under treatment," said the Health Department. Furthermore, Delhi reported 107 COVID-19 cases, the highest in the last six months.
