Delhi Governor Approves 300 Hotels, Clubs And Online Services, Function Round Clock In Delhi
In a major boost to the nightlife of Delhi, LG Governor A. Saxena permitted 300 hotels and clubs to operate 24X7, in the national capital. On October 9, the Delhi Governor ordered to issue a notice in this regard and said, "Starting next week, the 300-plus establishments will be able to operate on a 24X7 basis in the national capital". It will help major businesses, including online services, boost the economy.

Fire At Hotel Claims 2 Lives, Leaves Few Injured: Delhi
A fire that purportedly erupted due to a short circuit at a four-story hotel in southwest Delhi's Dwarka claimed two lives, including a minor girl, and left a few injured on August 15. ''Eight fire tenders were rushed to the spot'' to douse the fire, said the Director of Delhi Fire Service. Meanwhile, the police have also arrested the owner Nisha Jha and the manager Harshit Saini.

Unlock 3.0 in Delhi: Hotels to Re-open, Weekly Markets to Function on Trial Basis
Anil Baijal, Lt Governor of The Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) on August 19, gave permission to reopen hotels in the national capital. The decision comes as a part of restarting the economic activities, with weekly markets to commence on a trial basis. However, gyms are expected to remain closed. The market vendors and organizers are requested to follow the Covid-19 norms.
