Delhi liquor scam

After the Delhi Rouse Court extended the judicial custody of Manish Sisodia, the former Deputy CM of Delhi, he asked for a few books. On March 22, Sisodia urged the court to allow him some spiritual and religious books to be taken into Tihar Jail. Notably, the request was made during the court proceedings in money laundering case registered by the ED. Sisodia will be in custody till April 4.

In a drawback to Manish Sisodia and AAP, a Delhi Court extended the ED custody of Sisodia to five days. On March 17, the Rouse Avenue Court extended the custody, after reviewing a petition filed by the ED, demanding an extension to further investigate the Delhi Liquor Policy Scam. Notably, the ED arrested Manish Sisodia, the prime accused in the scam, on March 9. Investigation is underway.

BRS MLC of Nizamabad and daughter of Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao likely to appear before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with the Delhi Liquor Scam. This is the second time that K Kavitha was asked to appear before the ED in this case, as she is named as one of the accused in the south-central. Meanwhile, MLC Kavitha filed a petition against Supreme Court against the ED notice.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) summoned Telangana MLC K Kavitha, the daughter of Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao, in the Delhi Liquor Policy scam.  The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader will appear before the ED for questioning in the scam, on March 10, confirmed sources. Former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia will be produced before the Delhi High Court, on March 4. He will be produced in connection with the Delhi Liquor Policy scam, in which the CBI would demand an extension of Sisodia's judicial custody. Notably, a special CBI court remanded the AAP leader, the prime accused in the Delhi Liquor Scam. The court proceedings will begin at 2:00 pm, confirmed sources.
