The man claimed that she used to elope from the home without any intimation to him and used to stay away for months. Notably, the man had purchased his wife in Rs 70,000 from Patna. A 30-year-old man was killed by two men in north Delhi’s Sadar Bazar area in the wee hours on Tuesday, a Delhi Police official said. The deceased, identified as Samir, a resident of Sultanpuri, was working as a field boy for an online company. On Tuesday around 1:17 a.m., the police received information that a person was lying injured on the road. A case is registered for further investigation.
A Delhi metro employee stabbed his wife and two children before hanging himself in a grisly murder-suicide case reported from the national capital today. Police say the man, 45-year-old Sushil Kumar, his wife, 40-year-old Anuradha, and six-year-old daughter Aditi, died, while his 13-year-old son, Yuvaraj, is undergoing treatment for stab injuries at a hospital. Delhi Man set himself on fire, after receiving a notice of property seizure by a court. On February 25, a resident of Gokalpuri Kapil Kumar (33) doused himself and died at 3:43 pm, confirmed police on February 26. "Some officials arrived at the Gokal Puri Police Station and produced the court order seeking police assistance for taking possession of one property in Gokal Puri village," said police.

In New Delhi, a 70-year-old Pradeep Paliwal was arrested from Shahdara for allegedly duping a woman of Rs 20 crore. The accused allegedly offered an investment proposal to the woman, asking her to invest in his granite business in Rajasthan. They even signed an MoU (2014,) and assured Rs 50 lakh per month. In North Delhi's Narela area, a murder incident of a woman identified as Mamata was reported, confirmed by police on April 26. Notably, Rishi (36), his first-wife Baby (36), and friend Karan (22) has been arrested for Mamata's murder, Rishi's second-wife. Furthermore, the case was registered based on Rakesh's (witness) complaint, who said that Rishi confessed his crime to him. DCP Brijendra Kumar Yadav is investigating the matter.
