Delhi's AQI At 'Very Poor' Category, Likely To Drop To 'Severe' Category: SAFAR

The AQI in Delhi dropped to 386 in the "very poor" category on November 27. As per SAFAR, the AQI of Gurugram and Noida was recorded to be 355 and 391 respectively, in the "very poor" category. Farmers To Hold Protests To Mark One Year Of Farmers' Movement

To mark the one year of the farmers' movement against the three farm laws, Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) is organising protests in various states, on November 26. At Delhi borders, thousands of farmers will reportedly come and protest. Farmers of states such as Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal and Bihar will join rallies planned by SKM. Notably, PM Narendra Modi already announced that the Centre will repeal the laws.

Delhi RK Puram Toxic Gas Leak; 5 Hospitalized, Investigation Underway

An incident of gas leakage was reported at Ekta Vihar in South Delhi's RK Puram at 9:15pm on November 24. About Five people were hospitalized at Safdargunj hospital for having issues of itchy eyes due to exposure of gas. Delhi Govt To Allows Entry OF Vehicle Run On CNG From Nov 27

The Delhi Government announced to allow entry of electric vehicles and CNG vehicles in Delhi from November 27. In order to reduce air pollution, the AAP Government had imposed a ban on the entry of vehicles running on other fuels on November 22. The implemented measure would be in effect till December 3. In addition, schools, colleges, and other educational institutions will be shut until November 28.

Delhi's AQI Stands At 'Very Poor' Category For 10th Consecutive Day

In New Delhi, the air quality is recorded in the "very poor" category for the 10th consecutive day on November 23, said the System of Air Quality & Weather Forecasting & Research (SAFAR). The overall Air Quality Index (AQI) improved by 37 points from November 22 and was reported at 315, as per ANI. The levels of PM 2.5 stood at 139 in the "very poor" category.

Delhi Govt Extends Ban On Trucks' Entry To Curb Air Pollution

The Delhi government on November 21 extended the ban on the entry of trucks carrying non-essential goods until November 26. It also asked the Government offices and the private offices to give its employees work from home till the same date. Reportedly, these measures will curb the air pollution level in the capital. Besides, Delhi's air quality remained in the ''very poor'' category till November 21, reported ANI.
