PM Narendra Modi, who is on a visit to Deogarh, offered prayers at Baba Baidyanath temple, also one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in the country. To welcome PM Modi, the temple has been bedecked with lights and flowers, on July 12. located 270-km from the Jharkhand capital, the shrine is a major attraction for thousands of pilgrims every year, especially during Shravan month.
