George Floyd's Murder Case: 45-Year-Old Cop Imprisoned For Over 22 Years
A year after the "I can't breathe" hashtag became a symbol of revolution worldwide, George Floyd's murderer has finally been sentenced to 22.5 years in prison. Accused Derek Chauvin, an ex-police officer had knelt on Floyd's neck for nine minutes blocking his breathing flow.However, the Judge prosecuted his sentence "on your abuse of a position of trust and authority, and also the particular cruelty was shown," to Mr. Floyd.
