Immigration Department Detains Wife Of Amritpal Singh

Amid the ongoing chase for Khalistani pto leader Amritpal Singh, his wife Kirandeep Kaur has been stopped from boarding a flight. As per sources, Kaur was boarding a flight for Amritsar, when she was stopped. Although she has not yet detained, the Punjab Police is interrogating her about her husband and wanted Khalistani Amritpal Singh. Furthermore, the immigration department is also questioning Kaur.

Bathinda Military Camp Fire Incident: Detained Accused Confesses Killing Personnel

The Bathinda Military Camp fire incident saw an update after the Punjab Police and Army official detained the accused for killing four jawans. Notably, the police detained one Gunner Desai Mohan, an army personnel posted at artillery unit. The police said Desai confessed to his crime that he stole bullets to kill four collegues. As per the initial investigation, personal reasons could be the reason behind the crime, details awaited.

YS Sharmila Detained By Police: TSPSC Paper Leak Scam

Telangana Police arrested YSRTP President YS Sharmila, while she was trying to lay seige the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) office in Hyderabad.  However, the police stopped Sharmila, asking her to leave the area, and when she continued the protest, the female police personnel detained her. Notably, YS Sharmila along with her supporters called for the protest against the paper leak issue, demanding a CBI probe.

Delhi Police Detains 30 People Associated With PFA In Delhi

Amid the second multilocation Public Front of India (PFI) raids, 30 people associated with the PFI were detained in Delhi. On September 27, raids were carried out in Nizamuddin and Shaheen Bagh, in the national capital as part of a crackdown against the outfit. The Special Cell of the Delhi Police conducted raids and said, "We have conducted raids at multiple locations."

BJP leader Suvendhu Adhikari has been detained by the Howrah Police, after a clash between BJP workers- police, during the Abhiyan Nabanna clash. On September 13, Adhikari, Locket Chatterjee and Rahul Sinha were detained and taken to Kolkata Lal Bazar Police station. A clash broke out between BJP workers and the West Bengal Police force, during "Abhiyan Nabanna". Notably, on September 13, the BJP called for a rally to Nabanna, without police permission. BJP's Tajinder Singh Bagga was detained from his Delhhi residence, by the Punjab Police on May 6. According to ANI, the leader was arrested for allegedly threatening Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. Furthermore, Tajinder's father and BJP leaders in Punjab called the action to be a misuse of power for targeting Bagga and condemned the arrest. Karnal Police To Probe Terrorist Angle In Coordination With Ambala Police

In Haryana's Karnal, the police registered a case and is investigating the terror angle in coordination with the Ambala Police. Notably, a few months earlier, an IED was recovered from Ambala, leading to a terror suspect. Haryana Police Detains 4 People With Ammunitions, Suspects As Terrorist

In Haryana's Karnal, the police detained four people, suspected to be involved with terror groups along with explosives. On May 5, the Karnal SP Ram Poonia said, three identified as Gurpreet, Amandeep and Parminder are from Punjab's Ferozepur, and one Bhupinder is from Ludhiana. Violent Clash Broke Out In Gujrat's Himmatnagar, 4 Detained

In Gujarat's Himmatnagar region, a violent communal clash broke out on the night of April 11. The police detained four people after members of two different communities engaged in stone-pelting.  Happened in the Vanzaravas area, the incident is the second such communal violence in Himmatnagar. The videos of the incident went viral on social media. SP Vishalkumar Vaghela registered a case and is investigating the matter.
