Dhanush, Wife Aishwaryaa Separate After 18 Years Of Togetherness

Actor Dhanush and his wife Aishwaryaa Rajnikanth have parted ways as a couple after 18 years of togetherness. Taking to Twitter Dhanush announced the news and wrote, "The journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting and adapting. Today we stand at a place where our paths separate." Aishwaryaa is the elder daughter of superstar Rajnikanth. On November 18, 2004, the duo got married and have two children.

Aishwarya Sonar Also Joins Russo Brothers-Directed 'The Gray Man'

Filmmaker and actress Aishwarya Sonar has confirmed her presence, alongside Tamil superstar Dhanush, in the Russo brothers' upcoming film 'The Gray Man'. The already star-studded cast includes actors like Chris Evans, Ryan Gosling and actress Ana de Armas. The spy-thriller film is based on Mark Greaney's novel and is planned for an OTT release. "I have already filmed my part and it was a delight," said Aishwarya.

Dhanush-starrer Jagame Thandhiram To Have Netflix Release On June 18

Much-awaited movie Jagame Thandhiram, starring Dhanush and directed by Karthik Subbaraj, is set to have a Netflix release on June 18. Set in London, the movie shows Dhanush as a nomadic gangster. Originally slated to release in 2020, the movie was postponed due to COVID-19. Reportedly, after a wait of over nine months, the OTT release rights of the movie were sold off to Netflix.

Despite COVID Restrictions, Dhanush Starrer 'Karnan' Hits Big Screen

The makers of the much-awaited Tamil movie 'Karnan' starring Dhanush has released the movie on April 9, despite COVID-19 curbs. As a moment of shock for the producers, the Tamil Nadu government had announced fresh restrictions allowing theatres to function at 50% of the occupancy on April 8. However, the movie is released as scheduled. Directed by Mari Selvaraj, the movie has been produced by Kalaippuli S Thanu.

10 Indian Films Nominated For Golden Globes; Southern India Shines
