Tamil Nadu Patient Defeats 'Green Fungus' Following COVID-19 treatment
After recovering from COVID-19, a 32-year-old diabetic patient was diagnosed with 'green fungus'. However, the treatment was taken care of by the doctors at Sri Venkateswara hospital in Tamil Nadu. Type-1 Diabetic Children More Susceptible To COVID Complications
US-based Arkansas University researchers have opined that for children with inadequately regulated Type-1 diabetes i.e. 9% higher haemoglobin A1c levels, the risk of COVID-related complications and death increases tenfold.
