Tamil Nadu Patient Defeats 'Green Fungus' Following COVID-19 treatment
After recovering from COVID-19, a 32-year-old diabetic patient was diagnosed with 'green fungus'. However, the treatment was taken care of by the doctors at Sri Venkateswara hospital in Tamil Nadu. According to the officials, the patient reported weakness, body ache, cold, yellowish nasal discharge, and pain surrounding the eye. Type-1 Diabetic Children More Susceptible To COVID Complications
US-based Arkansas University researchers have opined that for children with inadequately regulated Type-1 diabetes i.e. 9% higher haemoglobin A1c levels, the risk of COVID-related complications and death increases tenfold.
