Maradona's Hublot Watch Stolen In Dubai; Seized In Assam

Assam Police on December 11 held a man from Assam, Wazid Hussain who worked as a security guard in a private company in Dubai. A limited-edition Hublot watch, bearing the signature and jersey number of late footballer Diego Maradona, was stolen by Wazid. However, the process of stealing the watch was not shared, while there remains a chance to send him back to Dubai to face necessary consequences.

Kerala Businessman To Build Museum With Maradona's Golden Statue

Kerala's Chemmanur Group Chairman Bobby Chemmanur has announced the construction of a museum in Kerala or Kolkata to pay homage to the late Argentinian footballer Diego Maradona. Named as "Hand of God", the museum will have a golden statue replicating Maradona's crucial goal in the 1986 World Cup. Bobby, who had earlier invited Maradona to Kerala, said the museum would be showcasing his personal and professional life.

In memory of the late Diego Maradona, a hotel in Kerala's Kannur district has converted one of its rooms, where the football legend stayed in 2012, into a museum. Maradona had stayed in room number 309 of the Blue Nile Hotel for two days. The room, now named 'Maradona Suite', has his photo and all the things he used during his 2012 visit.
