Fuel Rates Skyrockets With 13th Revision In Metro Cities
Amid opposition's protest, the fuel rates in Indian metro cities are rising everyday, taking the overall pricing up by Rs 9.20, on April 5. With another hike in prices, the rates are now Rs 104.61 petrol in Delhi and Rs 119.67 in Mumbai. Whereas, diesel costs Rs 95.87 and Rs 103.92 in Delhi & Mumbai, respectively. Meanwhile, Rajya Sabha MPs demanded discussion over the fuel hike and staged a protest.

Fuel Price Hike For 11th Time Worries Consumers In India
Indian metro cities witness another rise in prices of fuels, diesel, and petrol, on April 3. In Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Chennai, prices for fuels increased by 80 paise, taking an overall rise by Rs 8, in the past week. With the hike, new prices are; in Delhi petrol is Rs 103.41 per liter, while diesel is Rs 94.67. In Mumbai and Kolkata petrol is 118.04 and 113.03, respectively.

Petrol, Diesel Price Continues To Hike In Metropolitan Cities
For the 10th time in 11 days, petrol & diesel prices increased by another 80 paise, in the Indian metro cities. On April 2, the new prices in Delhi are Rs 102.61 per litre (petrol), Rs 93.87 per litre for diesel. In Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata, petrol rates have crossed Rs 100 mark, due to fluctuation in crude oil prices. With this, petrol's overall price increased by Rs. 7.20/litre.

Fuel Prices Increased 8 Times In Week, New Prices Crosses Rs 100 Mark
In major metropolitan cities, the fuel prices increased once again, taking the prices to over Rs 100, on March 29. This is the 8th time the prices have increased in one week. With the rise of 80 paise in petrol and 70 paise in diesel, Delhi's fuel prices are; Petrol (Rs 100.21), diesel (Rs 91.47), In Mumbai prices are Rs 115.04 & Rs 99.25, respectively. Fuel prices became a concern.

Petrol Prices In Metro Cities Remain Unchanged, Details Here
Fuel prices were stable for the second consecutive day in metro cities, on February 9. Delhi (Rs 95.41) Mumbai (Rs 109.98) Kolkata (Rs 104.67) and Hyderabad (Rs 108.20) are having petrol prices under Rs 110/litre. Notably, due to the cut in excise duty by the Central Government, prices are unchanged in major cities, giving relief to the citizens. Government revised prices on November 4, 2021, cutting excise duty.

Petrol & Diesel Prices Remain Unchanged For 49 Consecutive Days; Check Rates Here
Petrol and diesel prices in India remain unchanged for the 49th day in a row, on December 23. After the prices hit a record-breaking high in early November, the government reduced the excise duties. Petrol prices today- Delhi (Rs 95.41), Mumbai (Rs 109.98), Kolkata (Rs 104.67) and Chennai (Rs 101.40). Diesel prices in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai stand at Rs 86.67, Rs 89.79, Rs 94.14 and Rs 91.43 respectively.

Delhi Government Permits Diesel Vehicles To Be Retrofitted With Electric Kit
Old diesel vehicles can now be modified with electric kits, said Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot. Petrol, Diesel Prices Remain Constant For 8th Day
Petrol and diesel prices remained constant for the eighth consecutive day on November 12, after a reduction in the excise duty by the Centre. In Delhi, petrol and diesel is priced at Rs 103.97 and Rs 86.67 per litre, respectively. Mumbaikars would be paying Rs 108.98 for petrol and Rs 94.14 for diesel. Furthermore, in Chennai, petrol and diesel is sold at Rs 101.40 and Rs 91.43 respectively.

Punjab Govt Reduces VAT By Rs 10 On Petrol & Rs 5 On Diesel
Punjab Government on November 7 gave a big relief to its people by decreasing the Value Added Tax by Rs 10 on petrol and Rs 5 on diesel. The prices will come into effect from tonight.
