37 Party Workers Were Killed In Bengal's Post-Poll Violence: BJP
West Bengal BJP President Dilip Ghosh, in his review meeting with BJP Uttar Pradesh on May 1, claimed that 37 of their party workers were killed in the post-poll violence. Accusing the ruling TMC of sponsoring violence, Ghosh added that 166 BJP workers have died in last five years while 30,000 cases have been registered against the party workers. Notably, BJP had won 77 seats in the recently concluded elections.

Bengal BJP Chief Dilip Ghosh Warns Of Encounter, Cooch Behar Like Act
Following the four deaths in West Bengal's Cooch Behar, the Bengal BJP Chief Dilip Ghosh has warned of similar killings if someone tries to breach the law and order. Calling the deceased as "naughty boys", Ghosh said, "if anyone dares to take law into his hands, same will happen to them also". While reacting to Ghosh's statement, TMC has lodged complaint to the EC and a CPI-M leader remarked BJP, a fascist.

Indian Cow Milk Not Different, Does Not Contain Gold: Minister
Union Animal Husbandry Minister Sanjeev Balyan has busted the myth that the milk of Indian cows is different from that of a foreign breed. Besides, Sanjeev had refuted long-standing claims of West Bengal BJP leader Dilip Ghosh, who had earlier professed that the milk of Indian cows is yellowish in colour due to traces of gold. Earlier, several other ministers, including Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog, had passed such myths as science.
