Director Jude Anthany Joseph says it took him three floods to write "2018", his superhit Malayalam survival drama. "2018" narrated the story of the devastating Kerala floods that occurred in 2018 when people from all walks of life came together to survive the calamity. The Tovino Thomas-starrer, which released in May, emerged as the highest-earning Malayalam film by crossing Rs 200 crore mark at the box office.

OYO Appoints Paralympian Deepa Malik As Independent Director
Deepa Malik, an Indian-athlete who won a silver medal at the 2016 Paralympic-Games, has been named as an independent-director on the board-of-directors of Oravel-Stays Ltd (OYO) on October 13. In addition to chairman Ritesh Agarwal, Malik joins the board of OYO, which has three other independent members and one nominated director. Over the last couple of years, OYO has worked to make its company and board of directors more inclusive.

Dish TV May Remove Directors, MD Over Yes Bank's Demand
Following the Yes Bank's demand to remove directors and MD of Dish TV, the DTH service provider said on September 6 that it's started examing the demand. Reportedly, the bank, hold 25.63% stakes in the company, had demanded on September 3, claiming "the Board is not acting in line with good corporate governance standards." However, any new development will be announced at the annual general meeting on September 27.
